To Be or Not To Be, That Is the Question

"To be, or not to be" is the opening line of a soliloquy from William Shakespeare's play Hamlet, which was written in about 1600 A.D. The quote can be found in Act three, Scene one. It is part of one of the most famous quotations in world literature and the best-known of this particular play. "Ay, there's the Rub...the catch; the essence of the matter."
